Emma is Sleeping Out for Nugent

On 4th March 2022, I am organising and taking part in a ‘Sleep Out’ for Nugent, sponsored by Krol Corlett Construction. 

No matter the weather, I will be sleeping outside at the iconic Strawberry Field, in order to raise awareness and vital funds for our homelessness programme- New Beginnings. Homelessness is a real issue in Merseyside, and the rest of the UK, and people sleeping rough in England has more than doubled in recent years. 

Participants will be sleeping outside in order to experience just a fraction of what it is like to sleep rough for just one night. All money raised will be used to provide support packages for those who have been suffering from homelessness and are transitioning into their accommodation. It will provide the basic essentials such as pots, pans, towels, sheets etc- things we all take for granted. 

Nugent are working in collaboration with the Salvation Army for this event, who are raising money for Strawberry Field.
