Mount Snowdon half marathon

A group of friends, Scott, Stuart, Bruce, Darren and James, have taken on the arduous challenge of attempting to run 25k...up Mt Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa in the Eryri 25k run. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 💨 in May!Hard as it sounds, this is an inconsequential distance compared to the longest run in the event which is a whopping 168k! @https://lnkd.in/df9WEQfpAlthough total elevation gain for the 25k run is 1,300m+ so it is not a walk in the park.
For some added incentive and to stop them backing out, they've decided to connect the run to an effort to raise money for our charity, Together As One (Aik Saath), after a chance conversation about the work that we do at the Charity with Scott at a recent Media Trust event, Women's Voices. 
Together As One is a young people's charity born from the turmoil of late 1990s gang violence, dedicated to empowering young people to overcome challenges and make our community a better place. Founded on the belief that young people should spearhead efforts in the community, our organisation remains youth-led. We operate within schools, aiding at-risk youth and training mentors, and within communities, facilitating safe spaces and educational activities. Additionally, we assist young carers and combat youth hunger by promoting cooking skills alongside food provision. Our activities are mostly open access, but we also collaborate with mental health services and engage with young people in hospital emergency departments during their most vulnerable moments.Adapting continually to community needs, our Queen’s Award-winning charity upholds its core values of youth empowerment and unity after twenty-five years of service.
The running team assure me that once we've raised the first £1,000,000, they're definitely not going to back out!! Together as One, and the young adults we support, really would value any contribution.Thanks
