Help Restore the City Farm to Its Former Glory!

The City Farm has been running since 1998, changing the lives of countless young people through volunteering and informal education schemes.  Bringing communities together and introducing farm animals to people who don’t usually get to meet our furry friends. We work with local primary schools and other community groups and have always strived to remain free for everyone.

Many of our young people have gone on to study and work in the animal world as vets, nurses, farm workers or as professional horse riders. For others, it’s a means to channel their energies, stay out of trouble, make new friends and just be involved in the community.

Unfortunately, we’ve had some difficult years and even a temporary closure. Now we want to bring back all the animals and restore our Farm to its former glory.  But maintaining these facilities costs many thousands of pounds each year - there are no days off and running costs have been increasing.

So we’re campaigning to build a steady stream of donations, hopefully on a regular basis, and are appealing to all our supporters and animal lovers who believe that young people, and the whole community, will benefit from caring for animals.

Our goal is for 1000 of our supporters to donate £5 or more per month. Can you help?

Donations are collected via the Friendship Café, which is the registered charity that oversees the Farm (no.1098562).

Please donate whatever you can – even if it’s just £5! Thank you!
