Like many others, since March 2020 i have been working from home and have noticed a huge difference in my daily step count.. so to fix this and after watching watching recent Lakeside talks I've set myself a step challenge... between 25th January and 28th February I will be aiming to complete 50,000 in week one, 60,000 week two, 70000 in week three, 80000 in week four and 90000 in week 5 totalling 350000 in total, either by walking, running or using my stairs at home.
To make this worth while i have chosen to do this for charity with all money raised being donated to Unmasked Mental Health, a mental health charity aimed at removing stigma, providing support and helping those with mental health illness throughout our communities. Ill be posting my weekly step count every Sunday. I'd be extremely grateful for any support or donations during my challenge for this amazing charity. In some way or another we've all been affected by poor mental health, let's raise awareness, break the stigma and let people know its ok not to be ok. ❤
