Our Street Community Food Forest project is ideally placed on the edge of the Clark's Fields rewilding area and the town of Street.

Our mission is to transform this field formerly used for grazing cows on into a vibrant food forest for the benefit of the eco systems and people of Street.

A food forest aims to copy the plants and systems found in nature focusing on edible plants, fruits and nuts.

We want to make this space as accessible as possible for the people and groups in Street, running regular events focussing on nature and the beneficial effects of nature connection.

The land was generously gifted to Somerset Wildlands by the Clark family, but we need to raise money for planting and infrastructure such as shelter to hold events and talks, tool storage and compost loos.
