Nurture is about creating opportunities for EVERYONE to access wellbeing boosting activities in a friendly, calm environment. The more we look after our own wellbeing, the more we raise those around us. Access to wellbeing activities sometimes is motivated by an illness and desperation, in other times it's about keeping on top or and improving our health generally.

These opportunities are vastly decreased if you are financially, socially, economically or geographically disadvantaged. So the more disadvantaged you are, the more likely it is that you will experience more Ill health in your life. Nurture Centre is a MISSION to level the playing field, and create more opportunities for disadvantaged individuals to access sessions that will improve their lives....without the stigma!

I have been volunteering since the centre opened and have met so many wonderful people. I've made friends, drank a lot of tea and hopefully have been a friendly face and listening ear to as many people as possible. It has given me a huge sense of purpose and it's been wonderful serving the community in a practal way. 

However in order to provide these wonderful services to those who really need it we need funds. Waiting lists for public services are long, communities are fragmented, money is sparse.....Nurture is running towards a future where people take active control over their health and well-being as soon as they want it. Nurture Access Fund will provide FREE, immediate support to those who need it - FAST.....so they can feel better - quicker.
