This challenge isn’t just about running. It’s about something far more personal.
I’ve dealt with my own mental health struggles over the years, and I know many people who fight their own battles quietly every day. That’s the thing about mental health—it isn’t always visible. You can look completely fine on the outside while feeling anything but fine on the inside.
We’ve all seen examples of this in the world. Think of someone like Robin Williams: a man who brought joy, laughter, and comfort to millions, yet carried a weight no one could see. It’s a powerful reminder that we never truly know what someone is going through, even when they say they’re okay.
That’s why this fundraiser matters to me. It’s why I’m pushing myself to take on a challenge bigger than anything I’ve done before. If sharing my journey helps even one person feel seen, supported, or less alone, then every kilometre is worth it.
This April, I’m running to raise awareness for Men’s Mental Health—for the conversations that don’t happen, the struggles that go unnoticed, and the people who need support but don’t know how to ask for it.
Together, we can make a difference. One step, one conversation, one act of support at a time.
