Cleveland Pools is near Bathwick and is the oldest crescent shaped lido in the country. It was a little secret and very run down but, after the actions of a group of committed volunteers, it gained lottery heritage funding and now the project is gaining awards. I've been involved with the Communications Team for some time and have volunteered on walks and various projects but the main focus now is fundraising. If the remaining funds can be raised then the Pools will be opened next summer. A gift to Bath and local people that is steeped in history, eco fabulous and a true community resource the Pools will also ensure that the river and environs are well looked after and appreciated.
