After the epic 500-mile Ring of Fire in Bordeaux last year, 2023 was meant to be a rest year. However, given the great causes we support and with the addition of the 4Ed charity in support of an ex-Milton Keynes, Leicester, Gloucester and England Saxons rugby player, Ed Slater, in his fight against MND – unfortunately picking up the MND baton from Doddie Weir (RIP) and Rob Burrows. . How could we not commit to another effort?

We are therefore pleased to announce the first UK Ring of Fire bike-ride weekend. In May 2023, we will be covering three loops covering 250 miles over a three-day weekend in sunny Norfolk. . Additionally, I will be cycling the 250 miles in April to finalise the route before the main event.

We are targeting to have 100+ riders and support crew involved to be the biggest Ring of Fire to date. Whilst the recruitment of the cyclists and support crew is ongoing the fundraising can start now!!

We are cycling to support the following three causes:

1. Willen Hospice Willen Hospice - End of life palliative care (willen-hospice.org.uk)
2. Ed Slater and the Gloucester Rugby 4ED campaign: Gloucester Rugby
3. MKRUFC rugby development and support:

Thank you for your support

Terry
