This year is a big year for Home-Start Wokingham - we are thrilled and proud to have been supporting families for 25 years.
To mark our 25th anniversary a team of Home-Start Hikers are going to walk the 25km Thames Bridges Trek on 11th September and hopefully raise some much needed funds along the way.
25km will be really challenging but training is well underway - we have walked over 10km so far and have a 15km walk coming up. So far so good!
Every donation, however small, will go towards supporting families going through a particularly tough time. Through regular home visiting and family support groups, we give parents the emotional and practical support they need to give their children a better start in life. It costs £100 to support a family for a month. Your donation will enable us to help more families and every single penny will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
Well done Belinda :))

About Thames Bridges Trek
The Home-Start Hikers team will be joining over 2000 walkers and trek across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline, and historic landmarks. Setting out from the Putney Bridge start we had East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of 16 historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story – and a mid point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it’s a party style finish line celebration in Southwark Park past the final crossing – the majestic Tower Bridge.
