To replace and improve the existing portacabin and boatshed, which have reached the end of their useful lives.

The replacement structures have been designed to meet the needs of a wide range of people with disabilities including those who use wheelchairs, and those with visual or hearing impairments.

The buildings, which have a similar footprint to the existing facilities, will be constructed to reduce the impact on the environment both in terms of construction materials and ongoing energy efficiency.

The rough gravel area in front of the club house will be re-surfaced.

The provision of replacement facilities will enable Tideway Sailability to continue and increase its provision of sports facilities providing a safe environment for people of all abilities to go sailing for the next 25 years.
