If you've visited us recently, you will have noticed that the Tin’s Coal Vaults frontage is falling off and in urgent need of replacement. But, the good news is that The Veolia Environmental Trust has awarded us funding towards completely refurbishing the façade to make it far more attractive and welcoming.
The full project includes recladding the front, adding more infrared heaters in the venue and (in partnership with our friends at The Pod) creating some attractive movable garden planters. As a separate initiative, the scruffy 30 year old flooring in our community space, rehearsal rooms and office needs to be upgraded. Both of these projects are essential to attract acts and other venue hirers to The Tin, and help us sustain our financial position and deliver our charitable objectives.
The support from The Veolia Environmental Trust is a massive help and we are also very grateful to Amtico for donating some wonderful new flooring for our other spaces. However, we still need to raise £10,000 to complete the Coal Vaults frontage works and to pay for fitting the flooring, and here’s where we’re hoping you can help!
Please support us by making a donation, to help us make The Tin more welcoming , attract more people to visit us and help us to secure our future viability.
