Next year, I’m doing a skydive in memory of Corporal James Ashworth VC (pictured) who was awarded the highest serving medal of the Victoria Cross. James was sadly killed in action 10 years ago, taken from his regiment, family and friends before his time. Jump day will be the 10th anniversary of his passing.
I’m raising money for The Lord Kitchener Memorial Holiday Centre in Lowestoft who are a charity giving veterans massively discounted holidays and short breaks, and who have a personal connection to James.
The money raised will go towards the renovation works on the Kitcheners Memorial Holiday Center to improve their facilities to accommodate more veterans with difficulties
