I am taking part in a 50-mile bike ride - alongside some amazing women - to mark the tenth year of Ring of Fire (ROF).

In May 2026 we will be cycling in and around Milton Keynes, visiting a host of local rugby clubs along the way.

As you can see from my picture, it's been a while since I've been in the saddle, several years in fact so I am looking forward to the challenge and hope to also take part in the bigger ROF ride later in the year!

It's the first time we've put together an all-ladies team to get involved in the event - and we will be pushing ourselves to make a positive impact and raise some funds for charity.

• Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) – preventing young sudden cardiac deaths
• Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND) – supporting those living with MND
