I am doing the Great South Run in October to raise money for the Epona Trust, which is a not for profit organisation that cares for horses and ponies. Most of the horses that the Epona Trust cares for have experienced abuse and neglect. Carol Boulton and her daughter Verity Tidmarsh run the Epona Trust. It is through their patience and kindness that many of the horses are rehabilitated and then go on to fulfil their potential as riding school horses with Russells Equestrian Centre.
I now enjoy riding lessons at Russell’s after a frightening experience at another riding school. Due to Carol’s patience I have regained my confidence as a rider. I have learnt a lot about the horses from both Carol and Verity and even passed my Stable Management Grades 1-4. The horses are wonderful and these beautiful animals enrich my life.
Thank you.
