On the 20th November 2024, Gender Liberation Society and LGBT society at the University of Liverpool are holding a vigil in University Square at 6pm for Transgender Day of Remembrance. We are using this opportunity to fundraise for the charity Gendered Intelligence, a crucial charity offering services for trans, non-binary and gender questioning individuals in the UK. Significantly, they offer support for the families of trans people, as well as for organisations and professionals who may work alongside gender non-conforming people. Please donate what you can, and attend our vigil to help trans people in the UK find support and safe places. More than anything, come along to show solidarity with trans people who are no longer with us, and to be respectful in their memory.
