Team Fundraisers
In the month of June, the Oh Yeah Music Centre are asking music lovers to get their trainers
on and walk a virtual marathon to raise vital funds to support their services.
Like most venues, the Oh Yeah Music Centre relies heavily on the income generated from
live music events, bar sales and room hire. Since the lockdown began over 10 weeks ago, Oh
Yeah has shut its doors with no indication of when usual events can resume.
The Oh Yeah Music Centre is not solely a music venue, as a registered charity its work spans
the generations from teaching young people how to run their own live music events right
the way through to working with older people with dementia through the medium of music
and storytelling.
We, as the Volume Control team want to give back to the Oh Yeah for all the skills and experience we have gotten over the past 12 months. As a team we will be raising funds by Walking and Running a virtual marathon! Please give what you can or share our story!
