It was with great sadness that mum (Vera) passed away peacefullt at the Ridgeway Rise Care Home on Wednesday 7th January. Mum was at peace after a difficult few months battling cancer - she was stoic throughout, proud of her great innings and ready to join dad (Paul). The funeral will be held 10:30am Tuesday 27th January at St Andrews Church, Tadpole Lane, Swindon.

We would respectfully ask that instead of flowers, if anyone would like to make a donation to the Dressability chartity, it would be greatly appreciated.

Dressability is a wonderful local charity whose team of volunteers help adapt clothing for those with disabilities or additional needs.

Mum had previously supported this charity with her own donations and with her extensive experience with clothes and sewing, she was full of admiration for the volunteers - though frustrated her vision was no longer good enough to join them!
