Running for Kimberley. For Cricket. For Community.
On Saturday, 9th August, I’ll be lacing up my running shoes and taking on a marathon like no other—26.2 miles across Nottinghamshire, visiting all four Kimberley Institute Cricket Club teams in one unforgettable day.
I’ll start and finish at Kimberley, where our 2nd XI face Notts Unity Casuals, with stops at:
🏏 Papplewick & Linby CC – cheering on our 1st XI
🏏 West Bridgford Legion CC – supporting our 4th XI against their 2nd team
🏏 Basil Russell – catching our 3rd XI in action against West Bridgford Legion 1st team
Yes, it’s going to be tough. Yes, it’s going to hurt.
But I’m doing it for a club that’s been at the heart of our community—bringing people together, inspiring the next generation, and building something special.
I’m running to raise vital funds for the future of Kimberley Cricket Club:
Upgraded facilities
Expanded youth programmes
A stronger, more inclusive community hub for all
If Kimberley CC has ever meant something to you—or if you simply believe in the power of sport and community—please consider donating. Every pound will help me push through the miles, and more importantly, help the club thrive for years to come.
Thank you for your support. Let’s do this—together.
