Why they need our serviceEngaging with digital media is integral to everyday life and almost impossible to avoid. The Virtual Access project funded by Awards For All provided many older and disabled people with an opportunity to learn how to use a laptop computer. As a result, many learned basic IT skills that enabled to use a computer, browse the internet and perform a range of functions online.
Plan and expected resultsUp to 15 different people participated in this project who learned how to use a computer to varying degrees. Many stated how practical and useful the sessions were and that they wished they had this opportunity years ago.
