Being told that you are going to lose your sight is a traumatic event, and 250 people in the UK receive this news every day. Warwickshire Vision have been supporting blind and partially sighted people across Warwickshire since 1911. The charity provides rehabilitation and practical support via it's 12 Vision Support Centres, home visitor service, telephone befriending and social clubs. Everything from mobility training and kitchen skill, to IT training and advice on magnification equipment, and much more besides. A team of qualified rehabilitation offices, Eye Care Liaison Officers, community support staff and around 150 dedicated volunteers provide services and support mostly free to beneficiaries.
