Team Fundraisers

We run four classes per week (2x IELTS and 2x OET), as well as one-on-one support for medics to support them on their journey to becoming fully qualified to practice medicine in the UK.

Why they need our service

The WARD programme is the only one of its kind in Wales, and possibly the first of its kind across the whole of the UK. To date, we have assisted over 100 medics in their journey to become fully registered members of the General Medical Council (and dental/nursing equivalents) by providing medically-contextualised language classes, re-validation courses, training posts, and resources such as books and medical equipment.

Plan and expected results

Since the early 2000s, we have helped over 100 medics re-qualify in the UK. At any one time, we have around 12 medics in our programme, most of which will pass the programme successfully.
