Tuesday 21st of March is World Down Syndrome Day and we are organising a walk straight after school drop off over to ‘In the woods’ in Ashley. The walk is to raise funds for South Manchester Down’s Syndrome Support Group and to bring awareness.

March is a very important month for our community. It is World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st March (WDSD).
That is because people with Down’s Syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21.
So we celebrate on the 21st of the 3rd month of the year.

Ava who has Down Syndrome and is in the reception class at school and her family are members of this fantastic support group and they want to tell everyone how absolutely brilliant and supportive this group is.

So, Let’s get walking! …….
