Walk in Their Shoes: The 3,000 Mile Challenge

This June, staff and volunteers at Carers Leeds are taking on a special challenge to celebrate 30 years of supporting unpaid carers.

Together, we’ll be walking, cycling and swimming a collective 3,000 miles in 30 days — the distance from Leeds to New York.

Inspired by our theme “Walk a Mile in My Shoes”, the challenge recognises the dedication, resilience and everyday reality of caring.

Throughout the month we’ll be tracking every mile as we work together to reach our shared goal.

Our challenge:

• 3,000 miles in 30 days

• £1 per mile = £3,000 for carers
