On Friday the 3rd May I will be walking on fire 🔥 to raise money for the wonderful Yorda Adventures.
Yorda Adventures is a purpose built facility for families who have a child with additional needs or disabilities. They run play projects and family days for children and young people with significant learning or complex disabilities and their families.
Their aim is to ease and enhance the children’s lives through play, consistent care and a home from home fun environment.
Yorda has been an absolute lifeline for our family, we regularly attend family days, Freddie accesses 1:1 child care in the school holidays as well as Freddie having a weekly visit to Yorda with his school.
There are trampolines, specialist bikes and swings, a soft play room, a music room, a sensory room, to name a few, as well as Freddie's favourite the forest garden where he can get as muddy as he likes.
Places like this are magical for my family and many like mine as the many members of staff are on hand to help and support. I always feel so at ease there as all the other parents 'get it'.
Please donate if you can - there is no donation too small as every little helps
