I am riding in support of the Erase Meso Charity. I am one of the trustees of the charity (and definitely the least fit of all of them).
Mesothelioma is one of the most devastating and deadly cancers out there. It is often referred to as the "Asbestos Cancer".
If you are diagnosed with it, you have a 6 per cent. chance of beating it. That number is too low and we need to change it. We need your help to change it.
You probably know someone that has passed away because of this disease but perhaps were not aware of it (or just how prevalent it is). You probably weren't aware that more people in the UK contract and die from Mesothelioma than skin cancer and many "mainstream" cancers.
Our aim is to fund scientific research into Mesothelioma in order to help find a cure (or help reduce its devastation) and to raise awareness of the deadly and unrelenting cancer.
Any support you can give is well received (whether in cash or time). All money raised goes to fund research and raise awareness. Thank-you in advance.
