We are climbing Mount Toubkal - North Africa's highest mountain and it's going to hurt!
Day 1 -
Starts with a 6 hour, uphill, steep trek to the very chilly refuge where we will spend the night.
Day 2 -
Rise at 3am and get going before the sun rises. The ascent will be dark, cold, steeper, loose underfoot, the air will be thinner. After a short time at the summit, we will then begin a 10 hour descent - a killer for the old knees!
We are taking part in this 'mountains for memories' challenge to support Age UK Plymouth (AUKP) and the work they do in supporting those living with dementia in our city.
Living with dementia is not only the person who has the disease but also their loved ones and carers.
No donation is too small, every penny helps!

We will be taking on a training hike in wales in April - not quite 1000m high but it'll get the legs into gear!
Tara's fundraising page will be accepting donations for another 169 days.
