This year, over 20 runners will take part in the Wigan 5K and Half Marathon to raise funds for Daffodils Dreams. Among them are many young men who have been inspired by the organisation’s work. "It’s inspiring to see young men stepping up to help," says Maureen, founder of Daffodils Dreams. "At a time when youth often get bad press, this is something to celebrate."
Notable participants include Councillor Lawrence Hunt and his nephew, who are running for the fourth consecutive year. They are joined by council workers, Bridgewater Home Care, family members, and friends, showing the strong community support for the cause.
