I am taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge for Carers Leeds. At Carers Leeds, we support unpaid carers - someone caring for a family member or friend, who couldn't manage without their help.

Caring is an incredibly valuable thing to do. Carers make an enormous contribution to our society and make a difference to the lives of the people they care for. Be we know that caring - especially if done intensively, over time and without support - can come at a cost. Caring can have a negative impact on a carers health and wellbeing, financial security and relationships.

This is why organisations like Carers Leeds exist. We provide information, guidance and support to unpaid carers to help them in their caring role and to help improve their own health and wellbeing.

The money I raise will help Carers Leeds reach more carers, with the offer of support. So we can have even more of a positive impact on the lives of carers in our city.

Any donations - big or small - would be very much appreciated!
