Hello my lovely friends!
I'm so lucky to have had a great bunch of people in my life throughout the years, and I'm so thankful that you're still showing up for me as I approach the big 5-0.
Please do not buy me a gift - all I ask for is the time and opportunity to catch up with you in my landmark year. Could be drinks, could be a concert, could be a workout - you know me, as long as it's fun then I'm game!
However, if you would like to donate to a local cause which is close to my heart - Bristol's Square Food Foundation, I would be extremely grateful.
The Square Food Foundation offer free and subsidised cooking classes to people from South Bristol, who might be experiencing barriers, deprivation and marginalisation. Their aim is to teach people how to cook healthy food from scratch to improve their health, reduce hunger and bring joy and confidence to our community. Amongst other fabulous local initiatives, every week the Foundation prepares 200 recipe kits which are delivered to local schools and Food Clubs which contain fresh ingredients to cook a healthy meal from scratch, with enough food for a family of four. The kits get the whole family cooking and eating together and we know that cooking and eating together is a great foundation for a future healthier life. Just £12 can provide a meal kit to a family every month.
