Team Fundraisers
As part of our commitment to making a positive impact in our community, ABL 1Touch are pleased to be supporting Stripey Stork as our nominated charity. Earlier this year we asked our employees to nominate a charity close to their hearts, that they felt would benefit from our collective support.
Stripey Stork was nominated as a cause that we all believe in and something that is even more relevant as it is a local charity to our Head office and other sites. Stripey Stork are a Surrey based baby bank collecting donations of clothes, toys and essential items for babies and children and rehoming them with local families experiencing hardship. All the items are sourced and collected second hand so also saving on landfill by recycling and reusing many items.
Run Reigate on 22nd September, is our first fundraising event. Between us we will tackle 5k and Half Marathon runs (clearly some are more energetic than others, but it's taking part that counts - although some might not need more than 2 guesses to identify those signed up for the half marathon).
Supporting Stripey Stork enables us to make a meaningful and measurable contribution to our local community and we're pleased to be working together to make a positive impact.
This is a fantastic charity and a great cause and we're very grateful for all donations received. Thank you in advance for the kindness and generosity and don't forget to send us some well wishes for the day - even those of us doing 5k need the encouragement :-)
