I am running the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon on 28th February to raise funds for a local charity called The Acorn Cancer Support Group.
Founded in 1998, the group aims to alleviate the physical and emotional distress of adult cancer patients and their carers by holding monthly meetings which provide complimentary therapies, guest speakers and refreshments at no cost to patients or their carers. The aim is always to engender fun and laughter into meetings.
This is a really worthy cause to be able to help raise funds for, so please donate/sponsor whatever you can to help this group continue their great work in the local community.
