Hi I'm Adam, I'm 27 and live in Cardiff!
I gave myself a challenge to complete the Cardiff half marathon in 2012, which I did, raising over £300 for Asthma UK. Having suffered with asthma as a child this was very close to my heart and it was very difficult but such a proud achievement when I crossed that finish line.
I planned on completing more half marathons however life got in the way and here I am 5 years later and I haven't done another one.
Since then I've had links with Student volunteering Cardiff and considering I wanted to push myself to do another half marathon, they were my first choice when it came to picking a charity to raise money for!
You only have to take a quick look at their website (www.svcardiff.org) to see some of the great work they do and the difference they make in the community of Cardiff and the surrounding area is immense.
So please give what you can so I can help SVC continue to carry out their amazing work.
