We (Adam Wright and Mitchell Ward) are running the Milan Marathon on 12th April, helping to change young lives in Gravesham, supporting the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund's HEALTHY MINDS, BRIGHTER FUTURES campaign.

We want to help support the amazing work EHMF does for young people struggling with their mental health. They provide support, raise awareness, and help make sure no one feels alone.

Your support, big or small can make a profound difference in the life of a young person in crisis, providing them with the help they need when they need it most.

The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund (EHMF) has been operating since April 2022, providing fast, in-person counselling for young people aged 13–18, living or attending a school in Gravesham.

  • Average wait time (2025): 6 days – no waiting list in nearly 4 years (UK average 392 days)

  • 550+ young people supported to date

  • Delivered by 13 trusted private-sector counsellors

  • Working in partnership with schools, Kent Police, Darent Valley Hospital, leisure centres, charities, and clubs

  • Provides ongoing support for families bereaved by youth suicide

- there is simply no comparable service in the UK.
