Some of my colleagues at Advonet are running the Leeds 10K on Sunday 7th July. They're doing it to help raise funds for the charity, which helps to make people's voices heard through independent advocacy.
All funds raised will go towards such things as producing self-advocacy tools for Advonet's clients and information resources about people's rights.
Advocacy is a way of making sure someone who's in need gets their voice heard and rights respected. By donating, you're helping to make sure that Advonet keep doing just that!
