I'm attempting to raise money for The Collett School's Special Spaces project. I have previously done two tandem skydives and absolutely loved them, so I'm thoroughly looking forward to a third opportunity...and the bonus is it's for a fantastic cause!
The Collett School is a very special school. Unique in Hertfordshire in that it caters for children from Reception right the way through to Post-16 (that’s ages 4 to 16+), The Collett is a wonderful place to learn and to teach.
Our children have a range of needs, with 50% on the autistic spectrum, and others having a variety of diagnoses, including Down’s syndrome. We are now over subscribed with more children on the way. We have already lost our bespoke art and science rooms in order to accommodate our growing number of classes.
It is our hope that the Special Spaces project will help us develop our school so that we can provide better, more engaging spaces that will capture our pupil’s imaginations and inspire them to learn and reach their full potential.
