I started running four years ago after having a mild stroke - I needed to give up smoking and the running has really helped. This will be my third year of half marathons.Again I am raising money for Leeds and District ABC support group, which supports families and individuals with autism in Leeds. Last year they used the money I raised to buy helpful books for parents to borrow; this year I am hoping to be able to increase my donation and also to better my time. I am regrowing my beard because last year, when I ran without a beard, nobody bothered to photograph me!
