Team Fundraisers
My name is Alice and I am seven years old. My sister Elin, ten, has cerebral palsy. She needs help with everything and can often become very sick and need to go to hospital. BDCPS is a charity that helps Elin, myself and my parents with practical support, fun family activities and special needs play scheme. They have also helped me make friends with other children who are sibling carers like myself.
I love being active and strong and one of my favourite things to do is pull-ups. I made a pledge to fundraise at least £70 for BDCPS by doing 70 pull-ups over ten days. Then I started practicing and when it was finally time to start fundraising I was so strong I was able to do 70 pull-ups in two days, and so I kept going. I am now on 110, and counting!
