I'm Ali, a second year midwifery student, currently studying in London but my home town is Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Before I went to university I did an apprenticeship and continued to work at Headway East Northants, a small local branch of a charity dedicated to helping and rehabilitating sufferers of all varieties of brain injuries.
The clients of Headway East Northants are extremely special people and rely heavily on the services that the charity provide. All the money raised from this abseil will go to the charity to enable them to continue doing the excellent work they do, Art rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, respite for carers and relatives, and connections to outside agencies that would be inaccessible without Headway East Northants.
This money will go directly back to the clients to help continue their rehabilitation.
Any donation, no matter how small will be gratefully appreciated not only by me, but by the clients and staff at Headway East Northants.
