Youthbank is a grants award project for young people's projects in Buckinghamshire. Some examples of the projects they have funded over the past year include:
The Fringe Youth Theatre Group based in Western Turville - funding from youthbank enabled young volunteers to gain Young Leaders Award.
Amazing Donkey Club (Wendover) they have been awarded grants towards hire of sports hall and day out for youth club members.
Ivinghoe & Pitstone Junior Cricket Club - help towards costs of new cricket screens.
HMYOI (Aylesbury) help towards Black History Month Project on Ann Frank to explore racism, extremism with young offenders.
1st Grendon & Edgcott Scout Group - sports equipment.
Broughton Youth Café - help towards new equipment for this youth group - snooker/table tennis, guitar and drums.
I am trying to raise £150.00 for the charity by participating in an abseil off the County Council building in Aylesbury on the 7th September. Any money you could pledge will go towards a worthwhile project for the young people in the Vale.
