I have become actively involved as a volunteer for Autism Angels this summer. Autism Angels is a charity which works with parents and professionals to improve the lives of children. I recently had the privilege of spending a weekend volunteering at an Autism Angels Summer Camp. I was moved and inspired by the positive impact that one weekend can have on a group of wonderful families when they are surrounded by love and acceptance. On the Sunday afternoon I watched some amazing children and young people showing true bravery and learning to trust themselves, each other and the horses. I can't help but wonder what this incredible organisation could achieve with more funding. There are so many children and families who would benefit from working with the talented and inspirational Autism Angels team. SO ... I will be doing my bit to raise money by jumping out of a plane at 10000 feet! Please make it worthwhile and sponsor me as much as you can afford. Thank you!
