In 2012 I had a medical emergency and was fighting for my life with a tear in my aorta. I was told I would not be able to run again, but with sheer determination on my part, and the amazing help and support from Stafford Hospital, I'm up and running again. Ever since I have dedicated the Stafford Half Marathon to different charities.So this year, being my seventh, I have chosen Signposts, a wonderful local, Stafford charity who do a solid work, helping vulnerable people in great need, providing a safe place and lot's of advice and support in a local setting. Your generous donations will go a long way to keeping this local service going.
