Angela and Rhiannon GNR 2017

Hi there. those of you who know me well know I love my running - and I especially love the Great North Run. Last year however I said it would be my last and that I might be better suited to running more reasonable distances. I am however pounding the pavements of Cramlington once again as I have been 'conned' into doing it again by my daughter Rhiannon. Anyway now that we are training again what better reason to do it than to be fundraising for a great local charity based in Blyth, They are the Escape Family Support Group and we have promised to raise £440 for them. Of course they are an amazing group of people and we would truly love to smash this figure and surprise them with an even bigger donation. So we are calling on all of our lovely friends and family to support us and sponsor us round the 13 mile course. This time I dare not even say it will be the last for either of us!! You'll be pleased to know that our training is well underway and we can be seen sweltering and red-faced around the local area as we follow our prescribed training plan. Will keep you updated.
