I'm a mother of two, with lived experience of pelvic girdle pain (pgp). My pain journey has been a challenge, to say the least. As such, I've missed out on various life experiences, many of which involve my kids. I've been working hard on recovery and have set myself a challenge to return to the rink by doing a sponsored roller skate. I haven't been able to skate since pre-pregnancy with my son in 2017, so this is a huge milestone for me. This challenge is in aid of the Pelvic Partnership who are an incredible charity who support women with pgp. They have been paramount to my recovery and as such, I am proud to be a trustee and actively involved in their amazing work. I'm grateful that my daughter Caoimhe and friend Jennifer will be taking part in this challenge with me.
