Who doesn't love to snuggle in front of a fireplace with a nice hot drink and watch your favourite tv show on a winter freezing Friday night?
Well, me and Linda love it too! However, we will be changing the comfort of our homes to spend the night in the streets of Omagh, on 30/11/18, not only in solidarity with people who are roofless, but also to render visible the more hidden forms of homelessness, such as: those living in temporary accommodation; ‘sofa-surfing or those living in homes unsuitable for them.
Every day across Northern Ireland 50 families and individuals present as homeless.It doesn’t have to be this way.
Help us to raise vital funds to Shelter NI to continue combating homelessness and poor housing conditions and provide housing services and advice throughout GABLE and SLATE projects which last financial year helped approximately 550 people.
