I am honoured to be participating in the immensely challenging 100 mile Ride London to raise funds and awareness for About Face.
About Face is a head and neck cancer support charity offering Support, Help, Friendship and the benefit of Experience from volunteers whose own lives have been touched by head and neck cancer, to patients, their families and carers at the About Face Centre, opposite Poole Hospital, in people's own homes and increasingly at About Face Hubs across Dorset.
As Manager of the About Face charity I witness daily the courage and determination shown by patients and their families facing a diagnosis of head and neck cancer and also the amazing commitment demonstrated by our volunteers.
The ride will be a huge challenge for me!! Both the physical challenge itself and finding enough hours in the week to train... I would be so grateful for your support.
