My name is Annette and in a little over 4 years I have gone from a committed exercisephobe of about 35 years standing to an aspiring marathon runner.
I'm going to be running my first (and possibly only!) marathon in Brighton on 17th April 2016. I've run half marathons before but this is going to be a huge challenge, so I think that someone deserves to benefit from my exhaustion and pain.
First Days is a children's charity, based locally to me in Woodley, Berkshire. The tiny team redistribute donated baby and toddler clothes, equipment, furniture and toys to families in need
First Days help families who are struggling with the cost of providing for their young children. Theycollect baby and toddler clothes, equipment, furniture and toys and redistribute them to families in the local community.
Established in 2013 they have helped over 500 families and prevented 10 tonnes of waste for entering landfill in Berkshire.
