I'm running the Hackney 5K to raise money for Gendered Intelligence's SUPER CAMP!
As 2018 is our 10th anniversary, Gendered Intelligence is taking over 200 young trans people camping! At camp, young people escape their everyday realities of misunderstanding, bullying and isolation. For many, it is the only chance they have to take part in fun outdoor activities in a safe and affirmative space. The camping trip can make a massive difference to a young person's life. Your support will help us to reach our goal!
Gendered Intelligence (GI) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company whose mission is to increase understanding of gender diversity through creative ways. GI aims to increase the quality of trans people's life experiences, especially those of young trans people, to increase the visibility of trans people's lives, and to raise awareness of trans people's needs, especially those of young trans people, across the UK and beyond.
Even if my running isn't the best quality, the cause is! Funds raised will pay for youth workers, camp equipment, and most importantly for the young people to attend - please give generously!
