Big Red Bus Club 100K Bike Ride 2018

The Big Red Bus Club cycling team will once again be donning lycra and cycling an astonishing 100 kilometers on a route that takes in London, Kent and Essex. Building on last years team we are welcoming novice riders and old hands on this challenging and hilly tour of our local counties. All the money you donate will help the Big Red Bus Club in Charlton. Our family wellbeing centre supports local families with children under five. Through the week our volunteers provide a wonderful stay and play free to any family and a local lifeline in the face of cuts to government run family services. At a time when Greenwich Health Visiting team reported just 3% of children in Greenwich have a 1 year check up – the need for the Big Red Bus Club has never been more acute. We don’t just provide a great open to all play facility to local children, we run amazing much needed services to those most in need like our project for under fives with Special Education Needs and Disabled children, the Baby Blues Choir for women with postnatal depression or who are isolated and our wonderful Ukrainian self-help group. The Big Red Bus Club is at the heart of our community and your support will keep our great work going, allow us to innovate and get great work like ESOL support for mums up and running.
