Atlantic coast challenge - 3 marathons ,3 days

The Atlantic Coast Challenge (https://votwo.co.uk/products/atlantic-coast-challenge) involves running 3 marathons in 3 days from Padstow to Lands End. The course follows the South West coast path. The course is not flat!!! There are lots of hills, puddles, uneven surfaces, rocks and sand dunes to contend with. I decided to run it after seeing the contestants last year running across Mawgan Porth beach. I used to run when I was younger so thought that it shouldn't be much of a problem... however. My first training run in April was 3 miles and I quickly realised how much training I would need to do after wheezing my way around my chosen route... I wasn't as fit as I had felt! Fast forward 5 long months of training (I'm onto my second pair of shoes as the first ones wore out!) and I feel I might ( and only might!) be able to finish it. I would like to raise money for a local charity ( I live in Newquay, Cornwall) and I think St Petrocs do a great job helping homeless people to get back into accomodation. This can make a massive positive impact on people's lives. Being a small local charity I feel money raised will go further towards helping people. So please sponsor me because:- 1. It is a really worthwhile local charity that makes big differences to people's lives 2. It will be a real challenge to me 3. My daughter has her 5th birthday on the final marathon day and she hasn't grumbled once that I will probably have left the house to get to the start before she has woken up and she will even save opening some of her presents until I've finished ...on the provision I raise lots of money for charity!
